There were no instructions as others have mentioned but a diagram was on the unit, it requires wire for -12v, compressor, low and high fan. Bolts were already in place to mount to.I used a Honeywell RTH2300B thermostat which only has one fan setting so it had to be either low or high fan which was fine with me as I only used low fan setting. It was a little confusing at first, I thought I could use existing furnace thermostat wiring, it had +12v but the control board required -12v. I am not sure why that is. Luckily I had existing wire ran to a gas monitor so I had a -12v source in the same wall panel that I could splice into without having to run new wire. It puts my +12v and thermostat -12v on different fuses but that's ok I have it marked on panel. The worst part of this was having to run the thermostat wiring. Why Forest River did not install this to begin with or at least run thermostat wiring as option to install at a later date is beyond me.It makes a Big difference having this installed, it was a pain trying to adjust knobs and I did not like fan running all the time when it was on.
